"I am really excited about this album", says
Paul. "It represents an
evolution in my style, and in the complexity of the music. But it is
still easy to listen to, and kind of grows on you over time."
"I've
added some other instruments on some of the tracks, and there are a
few surprises also. But it still has the 'feel' of
Bridges to Oak Street."
(Paul's first album). To come up with words to describe the album I
would say: solid, hopeful, joyful, romantic, a touch of melancholy,
but also uplifting."
"Reflections From Higher Ground" contains ten original compositions
by Paul. Most of the tracks are five minutes or longer, and maintain
the melodic style that is present in all of Paul's music. His poetry
is included on the inside cover.
